An Act to revoke the dedication of certain lands as State forest and to revoke the status of certain lands as flora reserve.
1 Name of Act
This Act is the Forests and Flora Reserves Revocation Act 1996.
2 Commencement
This Act commences on a day or days to be appointed by proclamation.
3 Revocation of status of certain lands as flora reserve
(1) The notice under section 25A of the Forestry Act 1916, published in the Gazette of 1 July 1966, setting apart as Flora Reserve No 79931 (renumbered as Kerripit Beech Flora Reserve No 6 by notification published in the Gazette of 24 July 1987) an area of about 1174 hectares in the Parish of Beean Beean, County of Gloucester, being part of Barrington Tops State Forest No 977, dedicated 21 October 1960, is revoked in so far as it affects the area of about 243 hectares that constitutes that part of the area originally set apart that was not reserved, by the National Parks and Wildlife (Amendment) Act 1969, as part of the Barrington Tops National Park.(2) Each of the notices described in Schedule 1 is revoked.
4 Revocation of dedication of certain lands as State forest
The dedication as State forest of each of the lands described in Schedule 2 is revoked.

Notice under section 25A of the Forestry Act 1916, published in the Gazette of 19 April 1985, setting apart as Fenwicks Scrub Flora Reserve No 80028 (renumbered as Fenwicks Scrub Flora Reserve No 67 by notification published in the Gazette of 24 July 1987) an area of about 110 hectares in the Parishes of Naylor and Werrikimbe, County of Hawes and the Parish of Brassey, County of Vernon, being part of Doyles River State Forest No 911, dedicated 11 November 1949, and part of No 3 Extension thereto, dedicated 18 July 1975.
Norfolk Falls Flora Reserve
Notice under section 25A of the Forestry Act 1916, published in the Gazette of 15 October 1971, setting apart as Norfolk Falls Flora Reserve No 79965 (renumbered as Norfolk Falls Flora Reserve No 11 by notification published in the Gazette of 24 July 1987) an area of about 566.6 hectares in the Parish of Warung, County of Bligh, being part of Warung State Forest No 457, dedicated 18 May 1917, and part of No 5 Extension thereto, dedicated 19 July 1957.

Warung Tops Flora Reserve
Notice under section 25A of the Forestry Act 1916, published in the Gazette of 28 August 1987, setting apart as Warung Tops Flora Reserve No 107 an area of about 60 hectares in the Parish of Cunna, County of Bligh, being part of Warung State Forest No 457, No 1 Extension, dedicated 16 March 1928.
Jemmys Creek Flora Reserve
Notice under section 25A of the Forestry Act 1916, published in the Gazette of 13 November 1987, setting apart as Jemmys Creek Flora Reserve No 110, an area of about 321 hectares in the Parish of Moan, County of Bligh, being part of Warung State Forest No 457, Nos 3 and 6 Extensions, dedicated 18 April 1947 and 15 February 1974, respectively.

All that piece or parcel of land containing about 175 hectares situate in the Tweed Shire Council Area, Parishes of Kunghur and Tyalgum, County of Rous, being part of Mebbin State Forest No 626, dedicated by proclamation published in the Gazette of 21 December 1917, and parts of No 1 Extension thereto, dedicated by proclamation published in the Gazette of 30 April 1920 (being also part of Mebbin National Forest No 13, notified by proclamation published in the Gazette of 26 April 1940), and being the land so dedicated within the areas delineated by hatching on the diagram catalogued Misc F1233 in the Forestry Commission of New South Wales, subject to any variations or exceptions noted on that diagram.
Part Barrington Tops State Forest No 977
All that piece or parcel of land containing about 243 hectares situate in the Gloucester Shire Council Area, Parish of Beean Beean, County of Gloucester, being the balance (after the reservation, by the National Parks and Wildlife (Amendment) Act 1969, of the Barrington Tops National Park) of the part of Barrington Tops State Forest No 977, dedicated by proclamation published in the Gazette of 21 October 1960, that was set apart as Flora Reserve No 79931 by notification published in the Gazette of 1 July 1966 (renumbered as Kerripit Beech Flora Reserve No 6 by notification published in the Gazette of 24 July 1987).
Part Doyles River State Forest No 911
All that piece or parcel of land containing about 110 hectares situate in the Walcha Council Area and the Hastings Council Area, Parishes of Naylor and Werrikimbe, County of Hawes and Parish of Brassey, County of Vernon, being part of Doyles River State Forest No 911, dedicated by proclamation published in the Gazette of 11 November 1949, and part of No 3 Extension thereto, dedicated by proclamation published in the Gazette of 18 July 1975, and being the land that was set apart as Fenwicks Scrub Flora Reserve No 80028 by notification published in the Gazette of 19 April 1985 (renumbered as Fenwicks Scrub Flora Reserve No 67 by notification published in the Gazette of 24 July 1987).

All that piece or parcel of land containing about 566.6 hectares situate in the Coolah Shire Council Area, Parish of Warung, County of Bligh, being part of Warung State Forest No 457, dedicated by proclamation published in the Gazette of 18 May 1917, and part of No 5 Extension thereto, dedicated by proclamation published in the Gazette of 19 July 1957, and being the land that was set apart as Norfolk Falls Flora Reserve No 79965 by notification published in the Gazette of 15 October 1971 (renumbered as Norfolk Falls Flora Reserve No 11 by notification published in the Gazette of 24 July 1987).
