Chief Executive’s responsibilities as to Aboriginal objects and Aboriginal places
The Chief Executive shall be the authority for the protection of Aboriginal objects and Aboriginal places in New South Wales.In particular, the Chief Executive shall be responsible:for the proper care, preservation and protection of any Aboriginal object or Aboriginal place on any land reserved under this Act, andsubject to Division 2, for the proper restoration of any such land that has been disturbed or excavated in accordance with an Aboriginal heritage impact permit.
