124G Planning Secretary’s functions with respect to proposed orders under section 4.36(3) of the Act
The Planning Secretary may exercise the following functions in relation to the making of an order under section 4.36(3) of the Act declaring specified development on specified land to be State significant development—(a) the receipt of a request made by the proponent for the making of the proposed order,(b) the preparation and provision of a report to the Independent Planning Commission to assist the Commission to advise the Minister on the State or regional planning significance of the proposed development,(c) consultation with councils and other relevant agencies for the purpose of preparing that report.
