54 Periodic review and auditing of local strategic plans
(1) Local Land Services is to ensure that each local strategic plan is kept under regular and periodic review and, in particular, is to cause a plan to be reviewed if the Minister so directs.(2) The Minister is to ensure that each local strategic plan is audited, within 3 years of its approval, to ascertain whether its provisions are being given effect.(3) The Minister may, at any time the Minister considers it appropriate to do so, arrange for an audit of a local strategic plan.(4) An audit under this section is to be carried out by the Natural Resources Commission or an independent person, body or panel appointed by the Minister.(5) The Minister may direct that the costs of an audit (in whole or in part) under this section be paid by Local Land Services.
