General considerations in preparing draft PEP
In preparing a draft policy, the EPA must take into consideration:the environmental, economic and social impact of the policy, andthe simplicity, efficiency and effectiveness of the administration of the policy, andany environmental planning instruments that the EPA considers relevant (including any such draft instruments that are publicly available and are still current), andany national environment protection measures that the EPA considers relevant (including any such draft measures that are publicly available and are still current), andthe principles of environmental policy set out in the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Environment, as in force for the time being, andany regional environmental differences within New South Wales.The EPA may take other matters into consideration.
