400Y Executive officer
(1) The executive officer of a joint organisation is:(a) to conduct the day-to-day management of the joint organisation in accordance with the strategic regional priorities and other plans, programs, strategies and policies of the organisation, and(b) to implement, without delay, lawful decisions of the joint organisation.(2) The executive officer may also, if the joint organisation determines an organisation structure requiring other staff:(a) appoint staff in accordance with the organisation structure and the resources approved by the joint organisation, and(b) direct and dismiss staff.(3) The executive officer is to be the public officer of the joint organisation or is to designate another member of staff as the public officer.
