Registrar-General to enter particulars of vesting and lease in register
On publication of a proclamation under Division 3 or 4, there must be lodged at the Land Titles Office:all title documents held by the Minister or the Chief Executive (in the case of Schedule 14 lands) or by the Aboriginal Land Council or Councils concerned (in the case of ALR Act lands) in relation to the lands referred to in the proclamation, andthe lease, completed with the date of execution and commencement of the term.On lodgment of those documents, the Registrar-General must enter in the appropriate register particulars of:in the case of Schedule 14 land—the vesting of the lands in the Aboriginal Land Council or Councils concerned, andin the case of Schedule 14 lands and ALR Act lands—of the lease of those lands to the Minister.Following entry of the particulars, the Registrar-General must deliver the title documents to the Aboriginal Land Council or Councils.
