Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Marine (Boating Safety—Alcohol and Drugs) Act 1991.

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe the laboratory to which blood samples taken under the Marine (Boating Safety—Alcohol and Drugs) Act 1991 are to be submitted for analysis.
This Regulation is made under the Marine (Boating Safety—Alcohol and Drugs) Act 1991 (as amended by the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Amendment (Blood Sampling) Act 2000), in particular under sections 13, 16A and 34 (the general regulation-making power).
This Regulation contains matter of a machinery nature.
This Regulation is the Marine (Boating Safety—Alcohol and Drugs) Regulation 2001.
This Regulation commences on 1 December 2001.
The explanatory note to this Regulation does not form part of this Regulation.
4 Analysis of blood samples—prescribed laboratory
For the purposes of sections 13 and 16A of the Marine (Boating Safety—Alcohol and Drugs) Act 1991, the laboratory at Lidcombe of the Division of Analytical Laboratories, ICPMR, Western Sydney Area Health Service is prescribed.
