The object of this Order is to determine 1.7 percent of an employee’s or contractor’s ordinary remuneration as the amount of the long service levy payable by employers for the contract cleaning industry and contractors who are registered as workers for the contract cleaning industry.
This Order is made under sections 48 and 49 of the Contract Cleaning Industry (Portable Long Service Leave Scheme) Act 2010.
This Order is the Contract Cleaning Industry (Portable Long Service Leave Scheme) (Levy Determinations) Order 2011.
This Order commences on 1 July 2011 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
In this Order:the Act means the Contract Cleaning Industry (Portable Long Service Leave Scheme) Act 2010.
4 Determination of levy—employees
For the purposes of section 48 (1) of the Act, 1.7 percent of an employee’s ordinary remuneration is determined.
5 Determination of levy—contractors
For the purposes of section 49 (1) of the Act, 1.7 percent of a contractor’s ordinary remuneration is determined.
