Schedule 1 Repeal of optical dispensers legislation

An Act to amend the Home Building Act 1989 and to repeal and amend other legislation to remove licensing requirements for certain occupations.
This Act is the Occupational Licensing Legislation Amendment (Regulatory Reform) Act 2009.
(1) Except as provided by subsection (2), this Act commences on 1 July 2009 or the date of assent to this Act, whichever is the later.(2) Schedules 1, 4.1–4.4, 4.6 [2] and [4], 4.7 and 4.9–4.11 commence on 1 July 2010.
Schedule 1 Repeal of optical dispensers legislation

4.1 Health Administration Act 1982 No 135
Schedule 2A Health professional boards
Omit the following:* Optical Dispensers Licensing Board established under the Optical Dispensers Act 1963

Omit “Optical Dispensers Act 1963” from the definition of health registration Act.
