15 Medical practitioners and nurses—protection from liability
No civil or criminal liability is incurred by a person (being a person who is a medical practitioner, nurse or person acting under the supervision or direction of a medical practitioner or nurse) in respect of anything properly and necessarily done in the course of taking a sample of blood or urine from a subject, if the person:(a) believed on reasonable grounds that he or she was required under this Regulation to take the sample of blood or urine from the subject, or(b) was informed by a test supervisor or a police officer that the subject was someone from whom the person was required under this Regulation to take the sample of blood or urine.
