6.9   How appearance entered

(cf SCR Part 11, rule 3)

(1)  A defendant may enter an appearance in proceedings by filing a notice of appearance.

(2)  A defendant who files a defence in proceedings is taken to have entered an appearance in the proceedings.

Note. Appearance may be withdrawn: see rule 12.5.
