This Order may be cited as the Administrative Changes Order (No 8) 1988.
(1) This Order takes effect from the date of its publication in the Gazette, except for clause 4.(2) Clause 4 shall be deemed to have taken effect on 6 May 1988.
3 Construction of references to Office of the Minister for the Arts etc
(1) In any Act or statutory instrument, or in any other instrument, or in any contract or agreement, a reference to the Office of the Minister for the Arts shall be construed as a reference to the Ministry for the Arts.(2) In any Act or statutory instrument, or in any other instrument, or in any contract or agreement, a reference to the Director of the Office of the Minister for the Arts, shall be construed as a reference to the Secretary of the Ministry for the Arts.
4 Construction of certain references to Director-General of the Department of Agriculture
In any Act or statutory instrument, or in any other instrument, or in any contract or agreement, a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Agriculture by the use of the words “Director-General of Agriculture” shall be construed as a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
