This Order may be cited as the Administrative Changes Order (No 5) 1985.
Clause 3 shall take effect on 1 January 1986.
3 Construction of certain references to Registrar and Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies
(1) A reference in section 10 of the Housing Indemnities Act 1962 to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies shall be construed as a reference to the Director of Housing.(2) A reference in section 10 of the Housing Indemnities Act 1962 to the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies shall be construed as a reference to the Deputy Director of Housing or, if there is more than one Deputy Director of Housing, to such one of them as is nominated for the purpose by the Director of Housing.
