(1) At least one off-street car parking space must be provided on the lot on which a new dwelling house is erected.(1A) Subclause (1) does not apply to a lot that has a width, measured at the building line, of less than 8m.(2) At least one off-street car parking space must be retained on a lot on which alterations or additions to an existing car parking space are carried out.(3) A car parking space under this clause may be an open hard stand space or a carport or garage, whether attached to or detached from the dwelling house.
