Section 170A person shall not, without lawful authority, offer, make or give to an officer of the Service, an ex-officio ranger, honorary ranger or officer of the Jenolan Caves Reserve Trust any payment, gratuity or present in consideration that the officer or ranger will do or omit to do any act or thing pertaining to his or her powers, authorities, duties or functions as such an officer or ranger.Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units or imprisonment for 1 year or both.
