2 Commencement
(1) This Act commences on a day or days to be appointed by
proclamation.
(2) A proclamation under this section may appoint a particular time on
a day as the time for commencement on that day.
(3) An amendment made by Schedule 3 (Amendments relating to lump sum
compensation) cannot be commenced until guidelines have been made under
section 376 of the Workplace Injury
Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 (as inserted by
this Act) with respect to the assessment of the degree of permanent impairment
of an injured worker as a result of an injury.
