If a notice under this Division is given by post, a period calculated from the day on which the notice is given is taken to run from, and includes, the fourth day after the notice was posted.
94C Delegation—officers of President
(1) The President:(a) may designate a specified person or the holder of a specified office for the purposes of this section, and(b) may delegate to such a person or office holder the exercise of such of the President’s functions (other than this power of delegation) as may be specified in the delegation.(2) A person who is a delegate of the President under this section is an officer of the President.(3) Nothing in this section limits the application of section 49 of the Interpretation Act 1987.
