90 Approaches and fences
If the public work crosses any highway (other than a public
carriage-way) on the level, the Constructing Authority shall make and at all
times maintain convenient ascents and descents and other convenient approaches
with hand-rails or other fences; and shall, if such highway is a bridle-way,
erect and at all times maintain good and sufficient gates, and if the same is
a footway, good and sufficient gates or stiles on each side of the said work
where the highway communicates therewith.
