Section 2(1) The Acts mentioned in the First Schedule to this Act are, to the extent therein expressed, hereby repealed.(2) All persons appointed under the Acts hereby repealed and holding office at the time of the passing of this Act shall be deemed to have been appointed hereunder.(3) All regulations made under the authority of any Act hereby repealed and being in force at the time of the passing of this Act shall be deemed to have been made under the authority of this Act; and any references in any such regulation to any enactments hereby repealed shall be construed as references to the corresponding enactments contained in this Act.
