13AA Amended licences
(1) The holder of a licence who wishes to reduce the area authorised
to be irrigated under the licence, the capacity of the work or the quantity of
water which may be taken and used under the licence may apply to the
Ministerial Corporation for an amended licence.
(2) An application made under subsection (1) shall specify the
proposed reduced area to be irrigated, the proposed reduced capacity of the
work or the proposed reduced quantity of water to be taken and
used.
(3) On receipt of an application made under subsection (1), the
Ministerial Corporation shall, without requiring payment of any fee, issue to
the applicant, in substitution for the applicant’s existing licence, an
amended licence for the unexpired portion of the period for which, and subject
to the same terms, limitations and conditions as those subject to which, that
existing licence was issued, except that the amended licence shall be in
respect of the reduced area, the reduced capacity of the work or, as the case
may be, the reduced quantity of water specified in the
application.
