(1) If it is proposed to make an appointment under this Part to a vacant position in a Department, the Department Head must advertise the vacancy on the NSW Government’s recruitment website and in such publication (if any) as the Department Head determines.(2) The Department Head need not advertise a vacant position if the Commissioner so approves.
