370 Minister may ask for documents
(1) The Minister may ask a person to produce a document if:
(a) the document is relevant to the operation of this Act,
(b) the Minister has reasonable grounds for believing that the person
is able to produce the document.
Note. The person must comply with the request (see section
(2) The Minister may ask the person to produce the document to:
(a) the Minister, or
(b) an inspector nominated by the Minister.
(3) The request:
(a) must be made by written notice given to the person,
(b) must specify the person to whom, and the address at which, the
document is to be produced, and
(c) must specify:
(i) the period within which the document is to be produced,
(ii) the day on which and the time at which the document is to be
(d) may specify whether the original or a copy of the document is to
(4) The regulations may provide for the manner in which the Minister
is to deal with the document.
(5) Without limiting subsection (4), the regulations may authorise the
