49 Power of Local Court to hear and determine appeals etc
(1) A local court presided over by a magistrate may hear and determine any appeal or application under this Part, and may make such order as it thinks fit as to costs, which costs may be recovered in the same manner as costs awarded in any other proceedings in a local court.(2) The clerk of the local court shall send by post to the divisional returning officer a certified copy of the order of the court, and it shall be the duty of the divisional returning officer to direct the registrar to make such entries (if any) upon the roll as are necessary to give effect to the order.
