223 Roads authorities may charge fees for services
(1) A roads authority may charge and recover fees for any service it provides.(2) The services for which a fee may be charged include the following provided under this Act or the regulations:(a) supplying a service, product or commodity,(b) giving information,(c) considering an application for an approval, permit or consent,(d) carrying out an inspection in connection with an application for an approval, permit or consent,(e) granting an approval, permit or consent,(f) issuing a certificate.(3) The amount of a fee must not exceed the amount prescribed in respect of any such fee by or in accordance with the regulations.
