163 Roads authorities to keep records
(1) A roads authority must keep a record of the public roads for which it is the roads authority.(2) The record must indicate with respect to each public road:(a) its location, and(b) the name and number (if any) given to it by the roads authority, and(c) the reference of any plan in accordance with which its boundaries or levels have been fixed or varied by the roads authority, and(d) such other particulars as may be prescribed by the regulations.(3) The record must be available for inspection by members of the public, free of charge, during the normal business hours of the roads authority.(4) RMS must keep a record of all classified roads in addition to the records that it keeps in its capacity as a roads authority.(5) The record must indicate with respect to each classified road:(a) its location, and(b) the name and number (if any) given to it by RMS, and(c) its classification, and(d) the reference of any plan in accordance with which its boundaries or levels have been fixed or varied by RMS, and(e) such other particulars as may be prescribed by the regulations.(6) The record must be available for inspection by members of the public, free of charge, during the normal business hours of RMS.
