67 Future interest in land
(1) Where:(a) the title of a person to land for an estate or interest in
possession is extinguished by this Act,
(b) at any time while the person has that title the person is also
entitled to the same land for an estate or interest in remainder or reversion
or any other future estate or interest, and
(c) the land is not, before the estate or interest mentioned in
paragraph (b) becomes a present estate or interest, recovered by virtue of an
intermediate estate or interest,
the estate or interest mentioned in paragraph (b) is, on the date on
which it becomes a present estate or interest,
extinguished.
(2) For the purposes of this section, a person contingently entitled
to an estate or interest in reversion or remainder or any other future estate
or interest, or having such an estate or interest vested in him or her subject
to divesting in any event, is entitled to the estate or
interest.
