4 Application of Parts 3–10
(1) Subject to this section, Parts 3–9 apply to each court
referred to in Schedule 1 in relation to civil proceedings of a kind referred
to in that Schedule in respect of that court.
(1A) Part 10 applies in relation to civil proceedings in the Supreme
Court.
(2) The uniform rules may exclude any class of civil proceedings from
the operation of all or any of the provisions of Parts
3–9.
(3) The Governor may, by regulation, amend or substitute Schedule
1.
(4) A regulation under this section may contain provisions consequent
on the amendment or substitution of Schedule 1, including:(a) provisions excluding any class of civil proceedings from the
operation of all or any of the provisions of Parts 3–9,
and
(b) provisions modifying any specified provision of Parts 3–9,
or of any other Act or law, in its application to any class of civil
proceedings.
(5) Subject to any such regulation, this Act does not limit the
operation of any other Act with respect to the conduct of civil
proceedings.
