61   Application of Part

(1)  This Part applies to registration under a legislative provision referred to in Schedule 3, subject to any modifications or limitations prescribed by or under the relevant registration legislation.
(2)  A statutory rule that establishes, amends or repeals a registration scheme may amend Schedule 3 so as to include, amend or omit any matter arising from the establishment, amendment or repeal of the scheme.
(3)  In the event of an inconsistency between this Part (as applied to registration arising under a legislative provision referred to in Schedule 3) and the relevant registration legislation, the relevant registration legislation prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.
(4)  This Part does not limit or otherwise affect the operation of:
(a)  the Mutual Recognition Act 1992 of the Commonwealth, or
(b)  the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 of the Commonwealth.
