9   Chief Executive Officer

(1)  The Minister may appoint a Chief Executive Officer of Destination NSW.
(2)  The employment of the Chief Executive Officer is subject to Part 3.1 of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002, but is not subject to Chapter 1A of that Act.
(3)  The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the day to day management of the operations of Destination NSW in accordance with the directions of the Board.
