46 Chief Commissioner may carry out authorised investigation
(1) The Chief Commissioner may carry out an authorised investigation for the purposes of this Act.(2) In this Division, an authorised investigation is an investigation to determine:(a) whether an application or claim under this Act has been properly made, or(b) whether an objection to a decision made under this Act should be upheld, or(c) whether a claimant to whom, or for whose benefit, a rebate has been paid under this Act was eligible for the rebate, or(d) any other matter reasonably related to the administration of this Act.
