(1) Subject to section 413B, it is sufficient compliance with a requirement under this Act or the regulations that a document be lodged with the Registrar if the Registrar receives a copy of the document by facsimile or electronic transmission.(2) If the Registrar receives from a person a copy of a document under subsection (1), the Registrar may require that person to produce and lodge the original within the time specified by the Registrar.(3) If the person does not comply with a requirement of the Registrar within the specified time, the person is to be taken not to have lodged the document.
