388 Search warrant
(1) An inspector may apply to an authorised justice for the issue of a
search warrant if the inspector has reasonable grounds for believing that a
provision of the industrial relations legislation or an industrial instrument
has been or is being contravened in any premises.
(2) The authorised justice to whom the application is made may, if
satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for doing so, issue a search
warrant authorising the inspector named in the warrant, when accompanied by a
police officer:(a) to enter the premises, and
(b) to search the premises for evidence of a contravention of the
industrial relations legislation or industrial
instrument.
(3) Part 3 of the Search Warrants
Act 1985 applies to a search warrant issued under this
section.
(4) In this section, authorised
justice means an authorised justice within the meaning of the
Search Warrants Act
1985.
