7   The like provisions in case of error in names

The like proceedings may be taken in respect of any Crown grant issued previously to the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, in which there is any misnomer of the grantee, or misdescription of the land granted, and in every case where an instrument in writing has been or shall be so signed and enrolled as aforesaid, stating therein the matters intended to be corrected, and the name or description substituted or intended so to be, such name or description shall be taken to have been inserted originally in the grant and in every deed containing the erroneous name or description, and such grant and every such deed shall operate and be construed accordingly.
