78 Rules of court
(1) The power of a person or body to make rules of court includes
power to make rules of court for the purposes of any Act or statutory rule
that permits or requires any thing to be done by or in accordance with rules
of court.
(2) If an Act or statutory rule:(a) confers any jurisdiction on a court or tribunal,
or
(b) extends or varies the jurisdiction of a court or
tribunal,
the person or body having power to make rules or orders regulating the
practice and procedure of the court or tribunal may make rules or orders
(including rules or orders with respect to costs) regulating the practice and
procedure of the court or tribunal in the exercise of the jurisdiction so
conferred, extended or varied.
