Section 55 Application of road transport legislation
(1) Except as provided by or under this Act, the road transport legislation does not apply to or in respect of a motor vehicle, or the driving of a motor vehicle, in a recreation vehicle area.(2) Subsection (1) does not limit the operation of section 183 of the Road Transport (General) Act 2005 in respect of offences committed under this Act or the regulations.(3) In this Act, road transport legislation has the same meaning as it has in the Road Transport (General) Act 2005.
