44B   No contracting out of liability for loss or damage

A provision in or condition of an agreement or arrangement (entered into in the course of a licensed business) in relation to the liability of the licensee for the loss of, or damage to, goods in the possession of but not owned by the licensee is of no effect if it is less favourable to the owner of the goods than the common law.
