(1) This Division applies to the following property:(a) property that is in the custody of a police officer or member of the NSW Police Force in connection with an offence, whether or not proceedings for the offence have been commenced,(b) property that is lawfully in the custody of a police officer or member of the NSW Police Force other than in connection with an offence.(2) However, this Division does not apply to the following property:(a) a dangerous article or dangerous implement to which Division 1 applies,(b) livestock to which section 19 of the Stock Diseases Act 1923 applies.
